Caning Seats & Backs are pressed (or) hand caned. Hand weaved is a 7 step processed can be done of seats and backs.
Wicker – Is repaired depending on damage usually needs painted after repairs are completed to cover damage?
Rush – made from twisted paper that makes a patter on the seat. Shellac is used on chair seat after weaved with 2 coats on both sides.
Splint – flat piece of cane like herringbone pattern for seats that is hand weaved.
